Audrey Hobert is a Los Angeles–based singer-songwriter. Perhaps best known for her longtime collaborations with Gracie Abrams – from songwriting credits to music video direction – Audrey is now making her solo debut. Her first single, “Sue me,” was a breakout success, accompanied by a self-directed music video, which you can watch here. Her next single, “Bowling alley,” drops this Friday, June 20. She also has some upcoming shows, and remaining tickets are available here. Lucky for us, Audrey’s here to tell us what she’s been into.

I recently put my shoulders back while walking and it was a lesson happening to me in real time. My mom always said stuff like this to me as a child, but if you walk like you’re hot shit, someone is going to see you and know you are hot shit. Not that that’s the point of life. But it’s nice.

I was disinterested the minute it started but I made myself sit there and watch. And I was wrong. And now every time I close my eyes in the shower I picture his face and I open my eyes and peer around the curtain.

Just when you think they’re gonna zig, they zig.  Khloe turns 40, North West performs at the Hollywood Bowl as Simba (I cried), Kylie walks the Coperni show (I cried.) These women just live in Calabasas whether you like it or not. I like to turn my brain off to long form as opposed to short form content because it feels better, and then I get the privilege of being able to tell people what’s up with the Kardashians as if they’re my close friends. And what’s up with the Kardashians you ask? Not much this season. Oh wait no, Khloe turns 40.

My brother Malcolm and I recently got a rotisserie chicken and went to town on it with our hands. We flipped the chicken over and ate the bottom and it was full of flavor. I just feel like no one tells you about the bottom of the chicken.
