This is one of NY’s best kept secrets and I’m a little hesitant to publicly reveal it, but it is a real gem. My friends and I have been really invested in canned fish as of recently and this is the best place to buy quality caviar at a discounted price. It’s deep in Brooklyn on Ave X near Sheepshead Bay, but well worth the trip. If you make it out there, be sure to stop off at Lucia Pizza a block away and get the clam pie on Fridays.

Sheepshead Bay is known for its terrible fishing boats, Russian espresso, money laundering and of course Randazzo’s -  A 90 Year old Family Seafood institution that offers a uniquely inelegant dining experience. The walls are lined floor to ceiling with fishing relics, family portraits, gifts from regulars and Sheepshead Bay ephemera. If it came from the sea, it’s on the menu. The wait staff is made up of Sheepshead locals that aren’t there for small talk. They serve you a tiny plastic cup with your Corona and yell orders across the room to each other. Great for people watching and a great stop on your bike ride to the Rockaways. Stay away from the Scungilli and order the “Calamah”.

- Eataly (this is touristy but I’ve found the most exceptional bread and crema di pistachio!) - Agata and Valentina - Marché Madison - Butterfield Market - Murrays Cheese Shop (more for cheese but so divine) - Katagiri: exceptional onigiri, sushi, and so much more - Kalustyans (still on my list) In the Bronx: - Teitel Brothers - Casa Della Mozzarella - Calabria Pork Store - Arthur Avenue Retail Market - Tinos

A store in Greenpoint that feels like a Nora Ephron column. It sells “dinner and party essentials,” which means: caviar, tinned fish, various prosciuttos and cheeses, kooky drinkware, these gluten free crackers I love that don’t taste gluten free. Also: Big Night is the title of a very good Stanley Tucci movie.

Working at Highsnobiety has given me the opportunity to execute some of the coolest and most large scale events of my career. The magazine focuses on how youth culture intersects with new luxury, and Willa, our current editor in chief, has taken it in a direction that has made my position a lot of fun. We’re always thinking about how to make each event a better experience than the last, by breaking into interesting venues, and adding unexpected elements, like serving bumps of caviar or a live manicure bar with custom Highsnob nail decals. At our recent Paris Fashion Week party with StockX, Julia Fox, her friends, and half the cast of Emily in Paris showed up to eat, drink, and dance. It’s awesome that I get to continue my dream of creating spaces for people to just have a good time and let loose.

I was never much of a golfer,  I’m an award-winning sailor which took up most of my time as a kid, but recently I’ve been spending a lot of time at the Chelsea Piers Driving Range. I’m not very good *yet* and I miss the balls most of the time, but when you strike it just right and it goes flying, it’s the most cathartic experience. Plus they have food and drinks!

I have to travel every other week for work and having a reliable bag that can hold everything I need is a must. I recently bought a Rimowa Cabin Classic in Paris and my life abroad has gotten significantly easier. The classic aluminum design is not only light and structurally sound but looks really cool and rugged. I go everywhere with it!
