Like most of Ellis’ writing, it’s got well dressed preppy hot people and cocaine and serial killers. After reading ’The Shards’, I’ve been very visually inspired by 1980s LA 🎥🎥🎥

The Shards by Bret Easton Ellis was my favorite book I read last year. Drugged out rich kids in private school, lots of music mentions (to the point there’s playlists of it) and a 70s styled California serial killer. I was very into it.

I’m reading the shards by brett easton ellis and I love how specific he gets when describing his days. The exact restaurants they visited, the music they were listening to, the street names. I don’t recognize LA but it makes you feel like you were there.

Arguably Brett Easton Ellis’ magnum opus. I love that he sued Zoolander for stealing his IP and won. It’s a story about a male fashion model who becomes a terrorist. As in other Easton Ellis books, there is a mantra: “The better you look the more you see.” This is deeply true. Beautiful people are punished by being exposed to all the most horrifying things in the world. Epstein…need I say more?

I get really excited to hang with a new friend because I like getting to know people and I like to talk and ask questions. I enjoy having one activity I might do solely with this friend like a yoga or Pilates class or a specific walking route. It’s even more fun when we meet because of the internet.
