I took a break from readingĀ Absalom, Absalom!Ā by William Faulkner to read this.
(I was on a long waitlist at my library for this book, so I had to pick it up!)
I knew going in the vibe of the book going in but I definitely didnāt expect the narrator to be obsessed with Whoopi Goldberg and her pussy as much as she wasā¦.but all in all it was an interesting read to say the least.Ā

This is a Rec on how to stay sane, not how to get out, unfortunately.
I have been (mostly) unemployed for like almost a year aside from short stints or gigs. itās been awful awful awful BUT AMC A List became my light at the end of the tunnel, truly.
$25 a month for 3 āfreeā movies every week. I use it as a treat after trudging through applications or to have something to look forward to. And, yes, you can watch as many free movies as you want on your laptop in your room but having a place to go or a plan at the end of a grueling day is great.

New York's Hottest Club is....Film Noir Cinema's Thursday Night Film Club! On April 18th at 9PM I'll be showing a personal favorite film of mine at the greatest little theatre in the city, so come on down to 122 Meserole Avenue in Greenpoint. One of the best Mockumentary films ever, and definitely one of the funniest. AND THE CAST IS AMAZING!!
Young Kirsten Dunst, Young Amy Adams, Young Brittany Murphy (RIP) and the middle aged powerhouses Kirstie Alley (RIP) and Allison Janneyā¦.literally canāt get any better!!
Praise aside, thereās a moment in the movie with the drama geek contestant, recites a revised monologue (something about Soylent Green) that mentions ā2024ā and I think thatās so cute and awesome that on a random watch, little things like that could pop out at anytime.Ā
