a queer ethos of intimate friendship is so beautiful to me. my friends are hot, i trust them, i love them. i don't feel the need to limit the ways in which we can feel safe and known and held if we're all into it.

last night i had a difficult conversation with someone and i was able to fully say how they made me feel: mad, sad, etc. and i told them what i wished for even though i knew it wasn’t what they wanted.
after you get past the fear, keeping things to yourself is so much harder than being honest.
and both people feel so much better regardless of what was said<3 proud of myself !
