For me rn it is:
Morning: the Epic of Gilgamesh (good way to start the day)
Day: Masochism: Coldness and Cruelty - Deleuze (I’ve done my first reading so I need to pay attention to do my close reading, too spooky ooky to read at night).
Night: The Second Sex - Simone de Beauvoir (first pass reading can happen at night, sadly familiar which is good for night time reminiscing).
Reading a page or two before going to sleep is a great feeling, and will have you slowly make your way through your books, eventually reading more than a few pages when you find yourself compeltely engrossed.
On letterboxd. Like how do you rate the Virgin Suicides or Killer of the Flower Moon?! So heavy and devastating!
Fully sticking to just saying whether i like a movie or not going forward!
coworker who followed me on letterboxd on my second day working there, who i rarely see, complimented my reviews this week and i got giddy as hell. She had me stuttering and i havent come down from that high, she’s so cool too
