once i hit 1/2 of it, i usually finish it within 2 hours. the lead up normally takes me a couple of weeks to get through. i struggle to take real interest for a while.
when i get to that halfway mark though, and things start heating up… ooooo man that book is done for.
no matter how long it takes me, the satisfaction of reading a book cover to cover is unmatched. i like to give myself as much time as i need to read and not force a deadline on myself. i’ve found this makes reading much more enjoyable and i actually retain much of what i read.
even if shit continues to hit the fan, pretty much everyone ends up exactly where they’re supposed to be. you will find a place to live, a job, a lover, friends, etc. just keep going and it will be ok.
