A very specific rec, but if anyone in the UK is ever looking for videographers or filmmakers, I highly highly recommend Carolina and Dimitris. They made both my music videos ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BoaEs5gzhUU ). Carolina wrote and directed them, including creatig gorgeous moodboards, full screenplays, and pre-production scheduling. Such beautiful and thoughtful work. Carolina basically read my mind and produced videos that felt so me, but better than I ever could have come up with. Can't recommend enough tbh.

I blinked and made a short film? My friend recently started an artist collective, and one of the flagship activities involves hosting parties with queer and femme DJs and/or musical talent. I take the theme and then create something to go alongside the party. This party was called Spring Fling and is about rebirths and awakenings. I reached out to friends to help me create a non-linear short film that tells the "Awakening" stories of 4 women. Pseudo-interview style, and improvised/"real" stories. We posted initial cut, and I couldn't be more thankful for the opportunity to make art with and for my friends!

i directed my first music video for my band Mind Shrine and itโs been such a gratifying (and also a really deeply anxiety inducing) experience. im so moved to do more and im really thankful i have a team behind me that supports that desire. :)
please watch ! and also im playing an unofficial sxsw showcase this Wednesday at the old Austin Chronicle building so it would be so lovely seeing some PI friends :))))

I am by no means traditionally religious, but I fully understand how being in the presence of beautiful stained glass can feel like being with god. ALWAYS stop off at a church on the way if you think it might have good stained glass. The bluebells in the bottom right corner of this made me loose my breath for a moment.
