If you're looking for a cozy game that you can pick up for short bursts, check this one out! There's a GBC version and a GBA version (Ruby & Sapphire). I've been enjoying the GBC version on the Delta Emulator and the GBA version on my Miyoo Mini+. GLHF! ð

I fell for the advertising for this as a kid and it ended up under the tree one christmas. It's a game where you watch TV and hang out with a Pikachu, talk to Pokemon, go out in the world. A life sim, maybe? Who knows. It's slow and meandering but I loved it, spent hours in the in-game paint tool and named my Pikachu "Bruce" after my favorite stuffed animal at the time. I've revisited it throughout the years; showed it to my niece who enjoyed it and would pester me to put it in the Wii when I babysat her when I was a teen as well as through emulation as an adult. It's chill and calm, a weird blip on the Pokemon timeline.

Guess I'll start this off with one of my all-time favourite games! Wonderful music and pixel art. Doesn't seem to be on Switch (yet), but you can run a GBA emulator on anything.

I've been feeling depressed/lonely for awhile. And I've heard volunteering is a good way to reconnect with yourself and others, reducing depression and loneliness. So I finally took a step toward volunteering today by filling out an application!
