and this may seem like a trick quetion because so many recipes are online, but it's always fun to go through an analog cookbook (or record your own recipes / recipes you like that are online / recipes from ai, etc in a physical book -- journaling is another fav activity). baking is fun because it takes up so much time! I also like to make my bathroom feel like a spa. So think all the products and take a nice long "spa bath" which includes a soak, face mask, hair gloss/mask, manicure/pedicure, massage & dry brush, etc... whatever products I'd want to do at a spa. It's nice to have it all at home to your own ambiance and music! and ig the other answer is cleaning. i always hate to get started but once i get started, it's so hard to stop and strangely fun? I also like to organize & curate my closet idk lol

Cooking, maybe not even meals but also whipping up fun snacks, the more bored you are the more complex of a thing you can make. It's fun, it's tasty, you learn things. Also making fun drinks. Walking, duh. Walking around is great thing to do when you're bored. You get to explore the area you live in. Walk into some places you haven't gone to yet. Take a little notebook and draw things. The options are endless for directions to walk and things to do on your walk. Sewing, takes more time than you might imagine. Embroidery is especially fun because then you have a little patch or a decoration you can add to something. But also hemming things that don't fit you right, adding patches to your clothes. Doing a cross stich. Or crocheting or knitting if that's your kind of thing.
-baking & cake decorating is probably my main one(I also do it to an extent for work too) -sewing; all my clothes are either made, upcycled, or tailored by me -painting though I’m not the best at it but it’s relaxing -needlefelting it’s really accessible and relaxing. I take it with me to cafes and such for something to do with my hands and it’s a good conversation starter. I like to give random people free keychains and trinkets I make -music; I love to write songs and I play guitar and banjo, also taking voice lessons at the moment -”photography” I like to take Polaroids of my friends and things and decorate them with stickers and doodles -vintage doll and toy collecting I have too many things -cosmetics; love makeup too much and doing people’s hair -fashion; between making stuff, studying old runway shows, and learning whatever history I can

I know it sounds crazy, but trust me it's so good! All you need is radishes (sliced into however you want! or keep them whole, that's totally fine!), and just roll them into the butter or use a knife to spread it, and a sprinkle of sea salt, and enjoy! it's so simple, and the flavor and texture combo is out of this world good. delicious thinly sliced radishes with a knife on a mandolin (but be careful!!!) with proscuitto and parsley in a sandwich (or on a flatbread/cracker) as well Also check out Ploughman's lunches!! it's basically that exact vibe and I'm sure there's some inspo on pinterest!

one of my favorite journals is my cooking journal! I have one for each specific year and I write in it monthly, in real time. it consists of my grocery lists, farmers market lists, seasonal produce, meal plans for the week, recipe development (i also have a website i'm working on and a future goal is cookbooks so i'm always journaling this as I work on my recipes!!), meals I had out, dishes from cookbooks catching my eye, recipes i want to try... etc. really, everything food and cooking! it's more of a commonplace book of everything food related where I can develop and create recipes! it's fun to write the recipes out, and you have a place to make notes on what works, what didn't work, what to try, etc. Sometimes I even like to journal what playlists are going with the week - it's fun to see it along side all the cooking. it's always a fun look into the seasons too! You can also use it to keep track on recipes / traditions you want to remember!
