over the years, i’ve been fortunate enough to have the stars align and meet some of the most amazing folks i know while at shows, and even better, call some of them my best friends. however, we’re all very spread out location wise, and sometimes go months without seeing each other (now is one of those times). i caught myself really missing some of them today, and it was honestly really bringing me down, but then i remembered wow! how amazing is it that we still love and care for each other so much, even through the distance?? how awesome it that i have friendships worth longing for?? now i’m feeling extra lucky :)

i have no idea if my following explanation will make sense buttt
frr if i didn't have them in my lives no idea where i would be right now but the love i have for my friends and the love i receive from them is really one of the reasons i keep living and a way i bring joy into my life!!
having that love just brings a smile to my face no matter what they do, its just in those moments like when they get me a little snack cause they know its one of my favourites or taking pictures of me when we're out somewhere to hold onto that memory and look back one day or even just sitting and hanging around with me and theres no need to talk in that moment because its just us doing our own thing with each others company! its just that love i have and the sisterhood i recieve from my girls and im just so lucky to have them alongside me living life

god sometimes, in the moment, it sucks. but 99.99% of the time i feel so much better after the fact. inspired by me having to recently take my own advice i give to my students about how to get more comfortable being uncomfortable.
