This might actually be better than reading the book. Also, probably pretty good sci fi even if you don't really like sci fi. "An irresistible interstellar adventure as only Andy Weir could deliver, Project Hail Mary is a tale of discovery, speculation, and survival to rival The Martian—while taking us to places it never dreamed of going."

this book was tailor-made to get people back into reading imo. main character is your favorite high school science teacher on a crazy survival mission. like “the martian” but even more hype…

i came across this rec quite randomly and i haven't read sci-fi in so long, i wondered if it would be too much for me but this book was delightfully fun! the main character wakes up from a coma aboard a spacecraft and pretty much has to work his way backward to remembering why he is here, what he is doing here, who even he is, so on. the last sci-fi i had read was the 'artemis fowl' series when i was a kid which i genuinely enjoyed so much that i had quite a lot of expectations for this one- it wasn't what i expected but definitely wasn't a let down too (struggling to review without giving a spoiler so just rambling)

hank green’s foray into books, and it’s amazing. sort of sci-fi, sort of dystopian, pretty funny and super easy to read

You'll have to find items based on your own skin (dry/oily/sensitive/acne/whatever) But the basics with long term science behind them: Cleanser at night Lotion at night Retinol at night if you want it (read about how to use it first!) Rinse in the morning Sunscreen in the morning Vitamin c in the morning if you want it (again, read about how to use it first) Find a combo aha+bha exfoliatiant 1 to 3 times a week Be as gentle as you can while still being effective for your skin type. Everything else is either extra or something you decide you need based on your skin type

Pack a lunch (save time+money) Go away from your work (outside, your car, next door, whatever you have available to actually get a real break from work) Audiobook, reading, podcasts, watch movies/shows in pieces, "micro" workouts, learn something (crochet, coding, new language, whatever) Also, 10 minutes of meditation is all it takes to start seeing the benefits
