Without fail people comment on my perfectly imperfect shirt every time I wear it. They eat it up every time. I get to sport some lit merch and other people get to find joy and inspiration in the slogan. Itโs a win win.

This is a Rec on how to stay sane, not how to get out, unfortunately.
I have been (mostly) unemployed for like almost a year aside from short stints or gigs. itโs been awful awful awful BUT AMC A List became my light at the end of the tunnel, truly.
$25 a month for 3 โfreeโ movies every week. I use it as a treat after trudging through applications or to have something to look forward to. And, yes, you can watch as many free movies as you want on your laptop in your room but having a place to go or a plan at the end of a grueling day is great.

New York's Hottest Club is....Film Noir Cinema's Thursday Night Film Club! On April 18th at 9PM I'll be showing a personal favorite film of mine at the greatest little theatre in the city, so come on down to 122 Meserole Avenue in Greenpoint. Tickets are $10 cash, $5 beers and $3 sodas, plus a myriad of pierogi joints nearby for you to grab a bite at beforehand.

I used to be a major Neil Young fan, but when he wasnโt on Spotify he just fell out of my daily rotation. But he is back and better than ever, just in time for my spring/summer playlists. His music makes things feel right. Southern Man was my first fav, Harvest Moon has been a comfort song for years, and Only Love Can Break Your Heart has been on repeat lately.

I was addicted to Vaseline Rosy Lip Therapy for years, but a friend put me on Lanolips last week and Iโve entered a new era. I still love my Rosy Lip Therapy and she will always have a place in my life when I want a little tint, but the moisturizing power of Lanolips is unreal.
