So I’m a dancer who currently lives in nyc, i’ve been here almost 4 years and I feel like when u live in a big city the only way to get any job is to do anything (or willing to do anything) inside the field u wanna be in.
Im a freelance dancer who also does marketing and social media management for non-profits, i do production assistant, choreography, photography and video, arts managing, etc etc. I basically offered myself, my time and my knowledge to the service of others… I got to learn a lot from a lot of skills but it was always in the field of dance. That’s how I got to meet people who have recommended me to jobs all around. hope this help and good luck! 🤞
