I recently got a Pioneer deck for cheap off IG, best investment ever. I use Serato (lite edition is free to download), if you get it on a laptop, using a deck is optional but I’ve never tried it

Most will recommend a DDJ FLX400 or a similar type of controller...
my real question to you is why do you want to DJ if you think your music taste is "kinda-ok"?
I mean anybody can be a DJ these days. So as I. Practice makes perfect. This application is free (some paid features) and you can import your mp3 file to the deck. Just like what DJs do. -Levy
