my mom is great so i did know a lot of adulting skills already but honestly knowing people from their late 20s through 50s as coworkers, mentors, and/or friends has helped immensely since living on my own!! both bc when youāre struggling or ask for advice theyāll help, and you just pick up stuff from them naturally

Im so grateful my mom gives me a place to live. Ive been finishing college but it gets boring. I barely talk to anybody on a daily basis. But i also dont get out enough, its hard to make friends as an adult.

late 20s and thriving honestly because I moved back to my parents. no debt, no rent, no cooking. I just go to work, relax, and then work on myself and my business
my relationship with my parents improved so much as I got older. I think when they start respecting you as equally as you respect them, itās always going to be good.

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WORKERāS DAY!!!! i love having a union, i love being a union steward and getting to support my unit. when my union won its contract, i got a pay bump, better benefits, and increased protection as a worker. š„³
unions help address racial and gender pay gaps, issues workplaces impose on families and those having kids, addressing unsafe conditions, plus things like better health insurance, wages and overtime, weingarten rights to representation, and more!!!

i had it for a little over a year until i was like wow this is actually terrible! i genuinely think it has negatively impacted society by ruining peopleās attention spans, having a horrific algorithm, and most of all by the most mind-numbing or outright harmful trends -
fake words that people now use IRL (āunaliveā), trad wife tiktok, shein hauls, body-focused fitness vids that encourage fatphobia and unhealthy habits, shallow political/feminist theory and queer discourse, āalpha maleā podcaster tiktok, encouraging overconsumption in general, trends ruining local spots or niche thingsā¦ the list goes on
