These poetry & performance nights in London are absolutely incredible. I've been to a few now and each one is profoundly moving and has a real sense of community. There's such a diversity of talent each time; poetry, music, dance, puppetry, and well beyond that.
I was at one last night, which took place on a docked ship in Canary Wharf, and came away feeling very inspired. There's another happening next Sunday at the ever-reliablr George Tavern, which I wish I could go to. The collective also produces Zines and posts some video of their performances on their Instagram.
P.s. there's cheaper tickets available for those who can't afford entry, no questions asked!
