I stole this from my buddy but for every backpack/weekender/etc I take my point and shoot and when that roll is done it's done and photos are done. then there's no need to whip out my phone every three seconds for another picture.

I used to only bring one roll when I go on a trip and that meant that I felt like each photo I took had to be a good one. This time I thought screw it let’s bring three rolls and have a click fest! I just kept taking photos without any limitations. Once I got my films scanned I got a mix of okay photos and amazing ones like this one! So just a reminder to myself that having more trials and mistakes is not counterproductive, it will actually give you the best results.

I used to be the type of person to spam take photos and all I ended up with was a cluttered camera roll and no storage…
taking one photo is freeing and i think it is such a fun way to document life. your camera roll can really be a wonderful place

your phone dies or you accidentally forget it in the car? worry not! you had a camera in your bag already. take so many pictures of ur friends and fun moments and pass it around through the night!!

instead of the endless scroll, i see my book and think “whoa reading” and read. then i scroll later, or in the best cases don’t scroll at all
