Definitely recommend checking out random parks before the summer ends. I love seeing other people there just reflecting and taking everything in.

I grew up here but somehow never spent much time in our largest park because my mom told me Iโd get shanked. turns out itโs actually a normal and beautiful place that is perfect for laying down in or walking if you like that kind of thing. Iโm not a hiker but I respect a good walk so I think I will be walking to the witch house someday soon. ran into a friend there yesterday while with other friends and it just felt very communal. good spot and you def wonโt get murdered.

Doing another post of things I like up there that I think more people should see:
-Dover Stone Church. I had a vision here once right before Covid hit. Perhaps you could have one here too.
-Minnewaska State Park. They shot Severance here but the sky lake is a big hit for everyone.
-Chapel of Sacred Mirrors. Alex Grey, that did the album art for Toolโs album Lateralus houses his work here. It also serves as an interfaith church.
-The mines outside Kingston, NY. Great google/wikipedia dive. Really cool and terrifying. Open (I think!) to the public to visit.

Finished my undergrad this month and feels super freeing. Gonna treat myself as much as possible in September to celebrate my birthday and celebrate the end of those insane 4 years lol
