I assisted during the editing process of this film and honestly it's really good. I can unbiasedly say this film is one of the most original films that has come out in a long time. Without giving spoilers the only way I can describe this film is that it's like a meme page meets David Lynch but also John Waters. Also Chloe Cherry is in it, which is cool cause even though she is apparently "canceled" she's cool (sorry haters) and she also gave a funny ass performance. So see it when it comes out. It's a perfect movie to watch with your edge-lord boyfriend and even your friends who say he takes it a little too far sometimes on Instagram stories. There's a screening happening in New York on October 4th that you should attend if it's not sold out.

one film in every generation bumps and disrupts the zeitgeist like a skipping vinyl-- wherever that needle lands, is now where the zeitgeist is. this to me is where that needle has landed and culture will take off from for the next decade. incredible acting, directing, unbelievable editing-- deserves a technical achievement imo honestly, incredible unique vision from eugene. the end credits are revolutionary imfo.

At that theater you can also catch the code's actor, Peter Vack's brand new feature-- www.rachelormont.com that somehow feels like a crazy step-sister to The Code in it's relation to this wave of deepfried meme cinema.
kudos to eugene, vack, dasha, ivy and vishwam-- this was a perfect cast and perfect movie.

I watched this for the first time last week at a local spiritual center and it left me dumbfounded and in awe. what a feat; i was so moved, even with all the searing satire. typing all this out now stirs up all the sensations again... i don't feel the need to write much more here but this film means a lot to me already and i'm very grateful it exists.

*a bonafide festival darling and swept the awards season that year, which is only refreshing considering at its core is the film saying fuck off to the industry at-large

I always have loved clothes and fashion. I have so much on my clothing rack right now that it's falling over so I feel I can't keep buying more (even though I will). But for now, I still want to take photos of my friends and myself in very cute outfits so we always go to those very cute curated thrift stores with displays and gorgeous room designs and get an outfit together and take photos, and were don't end up spending a cent. So you should do it, it's fun.
