MJ Lenderman has a new album out and it goes nuts. Its a near perfect blend of alternative/indie/country/twangy/rock you will probably be into if youre into artists like Jason Molina or Waxahatchee

I finally got βMJ Lenderman: Manning Fireworksβ after a three (3) month wait from the public library. This album was so frequently recβd when I joined PI.FYI in January that I knew it would be good. His music reminds me of seeing Ben Kweller play in tiny raucous venues as a teenager. Every single song is a no-skip. Was pumped to add it to my iPod knowing this record is gonna be in heavy rotation this spring.

i love my guy MJ and he did it again on this record. wristwatch is my favorite, haven't re-listened to a single song so much in a long time.

a few people have said this to me and it's honestly made me so happy and such a great feeling to know you make other people feel at ease too. i really am a people person and just love getting to know anyone and everyone whether it's people's friends, family, partners etc.

i've spent most of the year focusing on self-love and also valuing my friendships and putting the work and time into them... i feel better about myself than i have in years β i haven't really felt that loneliness from a lack of romance because i still experience intimacy in a different way. we go for dinner, to the cinema, to exhibitions, have little holidays and sleepovers... but now that i do feel so great, i feel like i've unlocked a new version of myself that's a bit more flirty and carefree lol. my friends are great and beautiful, and it turns out their other friends are too. as long as there's no history or anything you're complicating, i vote to have a look around and get to know your friends' friends!
