dont just start talking for the sake of talking, instead find something you actually think is interesting about that person, give them the compliment/question and go from there.
be present, actually listen to what they’re saying instead of just being in your head thinking about what you’re gonna say next. you’ll be surprised how much people love to talk about themselves!
