aka netflix’s GLOW, a fictional dramedy following the production of a fictional women’s wrestling program during the WWF heyday with the likes of Hulk Hogan (who gratefully only appears in archival footage, not as a character)
Alison Brie and Betty Gilpin are phenomenal, and would probably be worth watching even if the rest of the show didn’t deliver at all (which it does!)
this probably isn't going to be anyone’s idea of “prestige tv,” but it’s a funny program with some very compelling choreography, a diverse cast packed w talented women, and everyone’s favorite grubby looking curmudgeon, Marc Maron
