Rec'd on 🧸 10/23: WHAT REMINDS YOU OF HOME?

Hearing the opening strings and piano of NFR by Lana reminds me of being in high school in the fall, driving around after class and taking the long way home. Also waking up on a Sunday and going downstairs to sit with my parents and watch Sunday Morning. And they'd drink coffee and I'd eat a bowl of cereal and we'd have a lazy little morning. It's so sweet that I'm still watching it, in my own living room with my own cup of coffee. Some things don't change even when they do! Now I miss home!

these stations filled my childhood rides to school... now ill play this type of music in the morning sometimes (shania, whitney, faith hill, natasha bedingfield, santana, etc) and feel truly... light. also somehow this genre makes me feel more like a grown adult woman for reasons i cannot explain

MUSIC*** NOSTALGIC FEELINGS CANDY-CAMEO

This song makes me think of being a kid and hearing my family playing music from the sala with the window wide open so we could hear it on the porch. We'd run up and down the block playing manhunt. Cameo & Tlc & Kool and the Gang & Nas & on and on playing in the distant background.
