Not my usual genre of rock. I'm not big into nostalgia for cheap access to feelings. But when I hear that song in the wild it reminds me of the era it was on everywhere all the time in the late 90s. Pre 9/11 life wasn't perfect, but that song makes me wish I had been put on the better timeline than what we've gotten the last 25 years.

Kurt vile — Blackberry song

For some reason I thought of this one although I haven’t listened to it for years. It just has this nostalgic feeling you got even after the release back in 00’s. It both has very simple lyrics and complex guitar melody. It’s so Bob Dylan coded but almost just a product of its time. It pats you on the back but you don’t know when you became a friend. It makes you listen to it quite a few times to decipher it (but luckily unsuccessfully).
