Literally turning everything off and going into nature and not looking at your phone. Bring music and bring a journal. bring a book, too, while you’re at it.

Nothing like the great outdoors. When the world and the manic banality of city life really takes its toll, when GORP and OPULENCE and JAWNS leave you braindead, when you just don’t feel like yourself, the trees are there for you, silent and calm. Turn off your iPhone 12 mini, bring along the latest Sally Rooney spot, pitch a tent & listen to the bugs, baby.

walk in nature, go to the park if possible. watch birds and other animals. take headphones and listen to some tunes if you'd like Also I'd recommend journaling or taking up any sort of writing. I may be biased b/c half of what I've been doing with my time lately has been poem writing, but taking up creative writing is so fun and full of endless possibilities. Best part is you don't have to show anyone if you don't want to b/c at the end of the day, you're ideally doing it for the joy of creation and the love of the game.
