not sure if this is niche but i never hear anyone talking about gregg araki so. i love this movie. it’s got amazing set design and characters and a soundtrack with shoegaze and 90s underground indie on it. plot is about aliens and queer identity, which i also love.
queer teen angst with a lizard alien and wild vibey sets. An incredible soundtrack. An amount of color that makes the brain go “brrrrr”. It’s the 90s so everyone is hot and sassy
i went to loch ness today!! i’ve wanted to go there ever since i was a little kid reading my monsters and cryptids book from the book fair cause i was a freaky little spooky kid. did not see any monsters but i bought a little figurine from the nessie hunter guy in dore :)
