GETTING BACK INTO PAINTING

I haven’t painted in like the last three years? After like ten years of doing it everyday all day. It feels good to return to what I love even though I’m not as good at it as I’d like to be or not as good as I used to be. It’s just nice to paint. PAINTING FOR FUN

It's fundamental I haven't painted in a long while, being a visual artist for so long I just sort of dipped terribly at some point and haven't touched a paintbrush in a ridiculous amount. Getting my hair done with a few friends today and, seeing one of them working on a piece, decided it was time to shake off the old canvas and brush. Long Journey (2025) - Multimedia on canvas

just look at the canopy of this one!? it’s shaped almost like a… leaf! I always feel inexplicable unbridled joy at the sight of trees. they are so so beautiful.
