hideous towns- the sundays
i would listen to it while romanticizing the little things in my life big time when i was going through a very rough patch. makes me feel like i’m going on a journey and will come out having learned lots of cool new things by the end of the film.

a bit too on the nose? it may be the second song on the album but it’s perfect for ending things on a hopeful/optimistic note before i run into the woods at the end of the movie.

means to me
for fans of dream pop – this album is so beautiful but so depressing so I can’t listen to it often 😅 it reminds me a lot of a time when I felt super lonely and isolated but I think it makes me reflect on how much has changed for the better too. but anyway I just think the songs are good :)
