depends on where you are, but Kolkata has open markets and I just go there, when I'm back in India. Delhi is great for textiles, and Mumbai I like to follow this brand that repurposes deadstock fabric into fun accessories - https://www.instagram.com/juhubeachstudio/
There's also tons of home-grown stuff of course, India IS the de-facto source for so much textile and craft; No Borders for example sources a lot of cool vintage pieces, and houses local designers to browse from.

this is something i tend to do when iβm buying gifts for my family in the UK, because they have tons of interesting funky boutiques over there! (also importing stuff from other countries there is more difficult than it used to be π)
i use this trick with smaller fragrance brands, homeware brands and clothing brands that have a store locator section on their website - because if the brand youβre looking at is trendy or unique, youβre sure to discover other unique brands and items in the boutiques that stock them!

I love picking out textiles for upcoming projects π highly recommend going to ur local fabric store or vintage bazaar and dicking around looking through all the different lace and trims.

An artist from Mexico City was selling posters and stickers at a little poster fair in Upmarket on Brick Lane in London today. Fell in love. Look how cute these designs are. And I get to know I supported the little guy instead of the big bad corp!!!!!!

This is what I call it hahahah made by mums everywhere but the greased up version is sold along stalls in Mumbai. Two regular slices of white bread, buttered, and the middle filling is cream cheese with red onions, coriander/cilantro, tomatoes and some minced chillis. All veggies chopped mini cube size so they blend with the cheese. Toasted crispy.
