Rope (1948)

Maybe not Hitchcock’s most well-known but became an instant favorite for me. Great characters, great dialogue, great pacing, and a very good looking apartment. The script is canonically queer, but edited down to not make it known in 1948. But you can still tell, which I think is cool.

Right next to the Boston Public Garden. A place where the right thing to drink is a beer. Pictured is The Fox, comes on focaccia with crispy pork cutlet, calabrian chili spread, arugula salad, saffron aoli, pickled onion, mozzerell, I’m allergic to apples. A perfect sandwich.
