sat in the grass at the park yesterday & noticed this guy all alone sitting next to me as I was busily drawing the scene around us π³π³π³π³π³π³π³π³π³π³π³π³π³π³π³π³ pinecones are an ancient symbol of enlightenment, knowledge, regeneration, & immortality. used across many cultures over the course of history, itβs even seen as a massive monument in the Vatican as well as carved into the Popeβs staff. They represent our pineal gland (which is literally pinecone shaped), or what many believe to be our Third Eye. Conifer trees are one of the most ancient plants on Earth & A pineconesβ spines are in a perfect fibonacci sequence in each direction. This pinecone was in my tent after Otis Mountin Get Down 2022. That was a weekend that cemented a lot of lasting friendships for me (including with one of my current best friends) that had only just begun to take shape at the time. It was one of the best weekends of my life and I'll keep this pinecone as long as I can.

A classic That simply canβt get better. i sat outside a chocolate shop on a chilly day w my brother. ordered some cheesecake & chocolate mousse. i sipped my tea & the host showed us the blankets they have for guests sitting in the cold. βEuropean styleβ she said. i miss being a kid, my brain not yet fried by short form media, being able to read at least two whole chapter books a day with ease. trying to get back into it by treating myself like my own kid, taking myself to the park for some mandatory reading time. i Also thought itβd be a good idea to do it anywhere but home bc i have a tendency to read on the couch or in bed & instantly fall asleep, so im trying to condition myself to not be so sleepy everytime i start turning pages lol
