yeah it’s a basic answer but so what. i read it 3 years ago and it reignited my love for reading so thanks patti. you’re the coolest. also, i miss robert mapplethorpe.
read in four sittings (this is somewhat of a record for me) and came away feeling more inspired than ever (to create with intent and to be more like patti)
This was my favorite book when I was 19. Found it all dusty and weather-worn at my mom’s place. Re-reading it is like time travel but also a reminder that my soul is the same it was back then. Tom Robbins was so real RIP
Genuinely the most comforting book for any kid who’s felt deeply different. I’m definitely an old soul and this book felt like I was seen for the first time.
she was ahead of her time and i stand by that. or maybe i was a prejudiced and close-minded music listener back then. either way, this album eats and i hope she plays party 4 u at the brooklyn show.
