1. Ms. LiberTy print I cut out of the back cover of a Mad Magazine issue that was published on my dads birthday in a frame I antiqued myself. it’s been in every apartment I’ve ever had, it’s watched the journey of my gender and sexuality liberation evolve. Feels really connected to my identity.
2. My first handmade quilt. She covers my breaker box, right in the entryway of my current spot. She’s not perfect, but she symbolizes my being. When I see her, I think about all the things I will do and be and see and feel.
