short horror novella about a group of friends who decide to spend the night in an old Japanese mansion. Pretty creepy atmosphere and imagery. Overall a very enjoyable little novel that got me out of a slump after Christmas.

been reading it aloud w my bf who accidentally thought it was nonfiction and freaked out when it started getting weird lol. so devastating and dreadful and creepy and sweet and lovely!! dystopian and existential short stories abt technology and the (nearΒΏ) future! her other novel is great tooo
