THE OLD MAN AND THE SEA GENUINELY SLAPS AND I AM TIRED OF PRETENDING IT HASN’T ALWAYS SLAPPED
it’s technically a novella (short!) and you probably had to read it in seventh grade and you probably hated it then but i do not care. i love a big fish and a struggle with nature as god.
