I used to feel that way a lot but honestly once you're with the people you like and something funny happens or you try a new thing at a new place you remember like "oh this is life". I don't know if that makes sense but sometimes feelings get complicated when you think about them. Feeling deep connection will ebb and flow with all people you know. I don't think things have to be deep to matter. Just experience it all and have fun with the little superficial things too.

go get magazines or books from the thrift store and make some art. functional sometimes even,,??!?!! this is the lid to a box i will store trinkets in. one of these cut outs is from a magazine i photo copied for a quarter cuz i didnt wanna ruin the original. theres so many possibilities ! ive even used junk mail newspaper ads that usually get thrown away

+ my cat gary. bfs xmas gift to me have worn them every day besides 2 days all month reminder u need special socks for them. had to wait a few days for them in the mail but i got like 18 pairs so i wouldnt ever run out. even with heels theyre so comfy somehow. an every single day wear

invest in quality

its so tempting to get a bunch of cheap items from somewhere but since buying a couple long lasting non tarnishing jewelry items and real leather clothes n shoes, wallet and backpack even, i feel like we should go back to the olden days and get things that will last decades on decades
