i don’t think soulmates are just reserved for romantic relationships. if anything, the platonic bonds are the most important. my friends are the soulmates i’ve been dreaming of since i was little and i’m entirely blessed to have stumbled across them!
There’s something so sweet and kind and safe in the love you find in a friend. Romantic love is overrated, my friends can take care of me and love me better than any man could, and I say this with 100% certainty.
not with sex per-say (unless thats your jam) but just with real passionate ill-always-be-there-for-you-and-will-love-you-forever sort of love. platonic love can be intense too
watching these curled up in bed with my best friends is the sweetest joy of my life. i truly feel that there’s a studio ghibli movie out there for everyone!
