was relocating my music collection and looked at the back of my indigo de souza vinyl and realizing that there was someone credited called jake lenderman…i have next to no knowledge of mj lenderman bc he’s not really my thing (very talented tho! love wednesday too :) ) but i had a inkling and did some research and my suspicions were correct. no idea he worked on something i’ve been listening to for years and i had no idea. just thought it was cool :) i find it funny i couldn’t put 2+2 together when they both hail from the same area/music scene
I have this theory that how we interpret what/who is cool is based on our own personal beliefs around cool, so what we see as cool is in our genre and what we don’t is just not in my genre of cool. So when I experience something not awesome -imo- it’s just different genre of cool
