I can think of a ton of albums that are 9/10. I can think of about 4 that are 10/10.

Best Madlib produced album (YES better than Madvillainy) Amazing features from Earl Sweatshirt, Danny Brown, Ab-Soul and Mac Miller RIP. Easy 10
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
Best Ye album. Very vivid memories listening to this album on my white iPhone 5c freshman year of high school in 2014. Brought me through some tough times around then. Easy 10
Discovery - Daft Punk
In 2007 I saw the music video for Stronger from Kanye West’s Graduation. I wanted to know what the robot voices were and then discovered the greatness that is Daft Punk. Discovery and the anime film Interstella 5555 were integral parts of my childhood and still hold up today. Easy 10
First Infantry - The Alchemist
An album so good, it was removed from streaming services for some reason. Click the link to listen. Easy 10

widely considered to be their worst album, but i’ve always appreciated the stripped back sound and consistent sonic palate of it. the distorted “yeah” bass synth they use on the whole album is THE sound I associate with Daft Punk, and along with the gritty guitars and deep fried drum machines this album really embodies the punk rock roots both members have. I also think there’s some interesting harmonic development going on in the songs even if songform wise they’re the most repetitive in the duo’s discography.
Technologic is easily a top 5 Daft Punk song for me, and is THE song that got me into electronic music when I heard it at age 6 for the first time. if approached as a true Robot Rock album, dance music does punk, I think there’s a lot to love. too many people compare it to Discovery and don’t appreciate it for what it has.

Everything in your life does not have to be subscription based, and subscription does not equate a service being good. If I’m paying $24.99 a month to watch Netflix in 4K UHD, I should expect to see what I pay for, not subpar playback latency, low bitrate streams, many app crashes, and overall looking terrible on anything that isn’t a 4K display.
Remember when you could buy things and own them, like, forever?
There is a better world out there past Netflix, Hulu, Spotify and Amazon Prime.

I have a near-Biblical dislike of Allbirds shoes and every other Tim Cook Jeff Bezos Middle-aged Balding Pickleball coach ass shoe out there for convincing the public that these were in any way cool. No dude, you look like a loser with these. They look bland and lifeless, like they were concocted in the same boardroom that made the flat graphic design trend that Meta and Google love so much. Hell, even notorious ip-infringer Skechers makes better looking shoes than these. They don’t even feel good to wear. They have no soul or personality and yet some people swear by them. Who are these shoes for?
