The tickets are pay-what-you-can and the screen, sound, and programming are all great
I went with my friend with whom I usually hate-watch really bad 2010s dramas so it was nice to see a film that we actually love together
What I love about nyc is the infinite amount of screenings there are for all types of movies — I think of it as an event more than anything! Feels way more fulfilling than just catching a film that just came out at an amc or whatever. The theaters r so much more intimate! And then you’ll watch happy together 1997 and the colors will be so beautiful n bright and you’ll cry and feel the same way someone did after seeing it 20+ years ago!
monomania is probably my favorite album of all time, up with maladroit by weezer. times to die is my favorite on the album, but it’s all great. i’ve always taken more of a liking to their older music rather than the remastered stuff, like face to face or teens of style. overall vibe of the album is good, not to mention the cover. (check my profile picture)
monomania - car seat headrest and maladroit - weezer will always be albums i’ll shove down peoples throats. they’re my two favorite albums, and i think they’re a good choice to listen to first for both band
