in mortal depth, where sorrows crawl,
life burdens us, a weight for all.
the heart feels heavy, locked in chain.
a quiet ache, a sharper pain.
but in the dark, a flame takes flight,
a McChicken, warm, pure delight.
a bite, some crunch, a welcome cheer.
suddenly, the hurt feels clear.
lifeโs absurd, a twist, a bend,
but joy is found, and we ascend.
