cus i was rolling my eyes than i was gasping and it was cinematic and funny and, the actual book is lilac with a nice painting on the cover and a floppy feel.

read it over a few days in the summer- and its set during those hot months! ikinda like middle-aged women musings but i found the story kinda cinematic and quite compelling bc its about this rude annoying artist satying in the narrators marsh land. and the narrator is fun ny.

Judged this book by its lovely cover and wasn’t disappointed- I would give it a 3.8/5 perhaps I bristle at contemporary satire sometimes because it can feel a little corny, especially if it’s a Book About Online, but this was engaging and otherwise well-written enough to make it a page turner :-)

seriously, what a beautiful thing. i just emerged from one, oh a warm fountain of clean water. it's a real luxury. and a nice oil or lotion and a facial moisturiser. clean pyjamas. what a rejuvenating and lovely thing.
