24 hrs since i first saw hozier live after 10 years of holding his work close to my heart and i can say everything was worth it 10x over. i was at peace, i cried, i laughed, i danced. i let his art take on meaning in my life, i felt catharsis through it. i‘ll never meet him, i don’t want to. i’m simply thankful for the invitation to engage with his art.

Here's to hoping he NEVER sees this. I just saw him live and HOLY SHIT It was like *theeee* atmosphere! We had rain going down. I had my umbrella, so the rain was making the *perfect* pitter-patter. I liked the other bands, don't get me wrong, but being like a part of the 5 that made it for his set out in that weather… WOW, I don't think that will be forgettable anytime soon. I must add, this was my first live park show fiasco thing, a bit of bias on my end but, god-damn, it was awesome. AND THE VIEW AUGH HGH HG
also completely blew it trying to be cool and act like I wasn't freaking out about how cool it is that he PLAYS TWO INSTRUMENTS AT A TIME in his DMS, so I'm just gonna go over here and die now

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WORKER’S DAY!!!! i love having a union, i love being a union steward and getting to support my unit. when my union won its contract, i got a pay bump, better benefits, and increased protection as a worker. 🥳
unions help address racial and gender pay gaps, issues workplaces impose on families and those having kids, addressing unsafe conditions, plus things like better health insurance, wages and overtime, weingarten rights to representation, and more!!!

i had it for a little over a year until i was like wow this is actually terrible! i genuinely think it has negatively impacted society by ruining people’s attention spans, having a horrific algorithm, and most of all by the most mind-numbing or outright harmful trends -
fake words that people now use IRL (“unalive”), trad wife tiktok, shein hauls, body-focused fitness vids that encourage fatphobia and unhealthy habits, shallow political/feminist theory and queer discourse, “alpha male” podcaster tiktok, encouraging overconsumption in general, trends ruining local spots or niche things… the list goes on
