One of my favorites is Tristan Da Cunha. A woman who lives there recently uploaded some footage to TikTok of the little village they live in and gave juicy details about how they retrieve mail. A ship comes about 7 times per YEAR (weather permitting).
Somehow, the Brits manage to own a lot of these tiny little islands nowhere near Europe.

it's so dope seeing the incredibly isolated places humans have made their way to, and the sheer number of inhabited islands that are out there is mind blowing. play a podcast in the background and go wild. i've found islands with small towns or settlements on them that have less than 40 words written about them available online.

fun, aimless, relaxing way to learn about our world! i love taking a 5 minute trip to são paulo or geneva or hanoi on my computer! or you can just drive around and stumble upon things like a deer eating lunch 😌
