That is so crazy because I usually have awful terrible horrible nightmares most nights, but they have gone down since starting lexapro (mostly because I have a harder time sleeping)

ugliestbinch i’m also on hydroxyzine bc i have such trouble sleeping and staying asleep, so im sure that’s exacerbating it a bit. but i have seen so many cases of this involving lexapro specifically so crazy dream cocktail i guess.

Inspiration to get on the antidepressants I already need. I take a kind of guilty pleasure in strange and scary dreams and hallucinations because I can act like some kind of haunted intuitive horror movie protagonist when I tell my friends about it

eatgraeps i don’t feel as sick for enjoying them a little now… i was on reddit to see if it was normal (i used to be on prozac and had never experienced this) and everyones like LEXAPRO DREAMS ARE SO BAD IM SCARED. they def can get intense and i can’t speak to others experiences but im having like 4 dreams a night where i solve the mystery of the day or i learn something so it’s def been an interesting time. but also good luck on your ssri journey! everyones situation varies so they are understandably polarizing but hopefully you can find a plan that works for you
