There's a big tangle of blackberry vines behind the fence at my work. Normally, I reverse-park because people drive at like 35 mph in this parking lot and it's safer when you pull out. But lately, I've been late to work and haven't had the time.
Because of this, I've discovered a gorgeous view of a menagerie of lovely birds of seemingly endless variety.
A bird smiles righteously
Because through the chain link
It flew, that puffball,
Despite the attempts by Man
To the contrary

One of my downstairs neighbours had died some time ago and now it's a free real estate for a lot of pigeons. They are currently trying to conquer new territories. My cat is furious. My mother's nightgown became a victim of a pigeon's revange after she was trying to (peacefully) make him leave her balcony. It's a war and we know we've already lost it.
Anyway, this is my favourite couple, look at these distinguished birbs.
