I'm 20 (21 in may) Big on games (mainly Warframe and Stardew atm. Love Dishonored & Mass Effect series. Getting thru Dragon Age games slowly) My fav band is Paramore because of deep emotional history, but I have to say King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard is probably the greatest band of Ever. Psychology major, gonna go into Linguistics for grad school tho. Maybe become a professor. If that fails, then to dental school I go. I speak English natively My French and Korean are fine My Mandarin and Hindi are not good My Punjabi is worse

HI! there are a few things we have in common. I'm also 20 (turning 21 in May). I speak Hindi and English lol. I took french in 6th grade and all I can say is the name of the months haha. I'm also a huge fan of king gizzard and the lizard wizard! Also psychedelic porn crumpets in the same genre!!

- so my mother tongue is gujurati , not the most fluent in it always but i would say i speak pretty well in it - hindi and urdu : both i understand fully they are quite similar to each other and to gujurati but speaking them can be a bit embarrasing since i butcher it but again it gets me by what i do know - arabic is what i'm currently in the process of learning. since a kid i've been able to read it cause i got taught to when learning the Quran and stuff but wasn't able to understand it until i started an islamic course which sidenote is so exciting cause i graduate next july hopefully - and the last is korean so i'm learning it with a student i mentor on mondays and so its been a challenge learning but my watching of kdramas has helped a bit with pronounciation and stuff but yeah that's been a journey i really however want to learn spanish for funsies so hopefully we'll get to that one day

Been playing duels after finally caving and purchasing a subscription which I've been very reluctant to do cause I was playing it when it was totally free. But it's even more fun to play without learning intricate road marking or sign details, just going from flags, language interpretation and geography knowledge is soooo validating. Even more brilliant when you get somewhere you've actually been or know where it is before. Has kind of triggered a previously unrealised interest in sociolinguistics in me cause I've always loved languages and I can tell a lot of them apart I feel like but I also cannot speak any fluently except from English. But I want to change that and also learn more sociolinguistic history etc. Anyway im currently on a ~90% win rate but in a lower division cause I'm just starting out but its fun as hell and I'm already learning much more stuff (i.e. the street signs in Warsaw also have the same format in Łódz! Who knew? I didn't !)

or literally any language learning app or method. maybe it’s the academic nerd in me but there’s nothing more rewarding than learning. like i Love learning new languages 🤓 so go off and get connected to others though language, au revoir and sayonara! (p.s. you should totally add me on duolingo so we can do friend quests @ babiemetal) … now realized I should’ve claimed that username on here
