a very very late christmas present for a friend
i hand sewed a lining for it from some old shorts (it took to 2 hours) while listening to Say Nothing by Patrick Radden Keefe.

I don't think we realize how important nicknames are to our society. When I was a wee lad I thought my name was un-nickname-able and my hopes and spirits were crushed. Years later I have earned a nickname so well that it has replaced my actual name. I think everyone deserves to feel the joy of having a nickname. The community and bonding attached to giving and receiving a nickname is unmatched. Truly a life altering experience.

Not only does it prevent leaving behind condensation rings on desks and other surfaces, but keeps your hands warm while you drink a iced chai latte in below 20 degree weather? Sign me up! My cozy is handmade which makes it even more special, but I bet your cozy will have a great personality.
