Trump had won and myself and a group of friends were milling around outside a bar, drunk as fuck, doing Rick from Rick & Morty impressions(this was before the show was culturally lame), and hearing the news & police helicopters circle around the anti-trump demonstrators. A late-30s guy was smoking a cig nearby and started saying that we're stupid Bernie voters and this is all our fault. Then he pointed at me and asked "How much for that guy?" We were like "what?" "I want *that* guy. how much for him??" I was 21 but looked much younger. Thankfully, my friends did not sell me.

@TATERHOLE Probably the funniest part was that he seemed genuinely *sad* when he was rebuffed. Like his pride was wounded and we rendered him pathetic.

my friends and i love a bit, so I was forced to approach a guy I thought was cute at the bar and buy him a drink. we got the bartender in on it (who turned out to be his friend, told me his fav drink and that he was single). We ended up chatting over paper planes for like an hour before I retreated back to my friends after we exchanged contact info. Alas nothing came of it, but either way, I've been riding the high of approaching a literal stranger in public since then and realized it wasn't as heinous an experience as I thought it would be.

weird in a good way! but seriously, when someone hits on you or you're hitting on them just ask some out-of-place question! I once asked a guy what did he do today and he told me about his small daughter and how he takes her skateboarding. the guy was hitting on me and there was at least a 10 year-old age gap between us, but for 30 minutes I was listening to a very involved dad who adored his daughter. at the same time he was covered in glitter and on his fifth cigarette. I miss him sometimes.

Poetically, this was going to be the last date before I delete Hinge and take a break for a few months. Message received, loud and clear 🫡 On the bright side, I did get to see this bathroom with two stand mixers and a printer in it
